Meet Your Tutor
My name is Sarah and I am incredibly passionate about education and teaching. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in June 2019. I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Education and will be graduating from Queen's University in July 2020. I am very much looking forward to my future career as a teacher.

I have worked with the Limestone District School Board's Read-A-Lot summer literacy program for the last 3 years. I also worked with the Tutors in the Classroom program for two years. I have tutored with the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario and I have run a number of educational workshops with different organizations. I have tutored students 1-on-1 since I was in high school and I truly enjoy working so closely with students to meet their individual needs. As a result, I have a great deal of experience tutoring and lesson planning. I look forward to helping your child achieve their best.

What We Provide
LITERACY AND MATH TUTORING
Whether your child is learning to read, is having difficulty reading, needs assistance writing, or needs help navigating how to write a good essay, I can help!

Many students struggle in math and it can be very frustrating. I will work with your child to develop new techniques, strategies, and problem solving skills to not only ace their next math test, but to really understand the content.
ALL-IN-ONE TUTORING
Schooling looks very different right now and I know that this may be causing added stress and anxiety for both parents and students. I am here to help! School can be challenging at the best of times and there may be many subjects your child could use a bit of extra help in. No problem! Any and all subject tutoring is welcome. (Unfortunately I can not offer French tutoring).
HOME LEARNING SUPPORT
I am here to help your child continue their learning throughout these challenging times. I can offer support materials, home learning activities, and timely feedback to help engage your child in the learning process. I am also available for additional schooling time working on your child's current curriculum or additional interaction opportunities. We can develop a plan together that best suits your family.
PRICING AND HOURS

I offer a free consultation meeting to ensure that I am a good fit for your child and their needs, to discuss scheduling, and address any questions you may have. Please note there are no contract obligations.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING
I am here to help and I will open new tutoring time slots on an as needed basis. I will do everything I can to find a time that works for you and your family.  Please email me at aceittutoring@outlook.com to schedule a free consultation and sign-up for tutoring sessions.
$25/HOUR
My tutoring fee is $25/hour. If you have multiple children requiring tutoring services, group rates may apply. Depending on the education plan we create, additional prep time fees may apply.
LOCATION
As a result of the current pandemic, the majority of tutoring will take place online. I use a combination of online platforms to support your child's needs and they are all compatible with desktops, laptops, or tablets. However, I will assess location options on a case-by-case basis to best meet your needs.
